Waterproofing for Somerset West homes & businesses
When it rains in Somerset West, flat roofs, parapets and old flashings are usually the first to leak. We find the actual source and fix it properly, with a written guarantee.
Somerset West estates and older homes need roof painting and waterproofing suited to strong winds. Between False Bay moisture and the mountain, homes here see strong winds and wet winters that find every weak flashing.
Our waterproofing service
Leaks rarely start where the water shows. We trace the source first, whether that's a failed flashing, a cracked parapet, a blocked outlet or rising damp, and fix the cause, not just the stain. We install torch-on membranes on flat roofs and parapets, liquid rubber and fibre-reinforced systems on complex details, and damp proofing on walls that bubble and flake. Every waterproofing job comes with a written guarantee and a clear explanation of what was done.

Waterproofing FAQs
How long does torch-on waterproofing last?
A properly installed and maintained torch-on system typically lasts 10 to 15 years. We recommend a reflective coating every few years to extend it.
Can you fix rising damp?
Yes. We treat rising damp with chemical damp-proof courses, re-plaster with waterproof mixes and finish with breathable paint.
Do you offer a guarantee?
Yes. All waterproofing work comes with a written guarantee. The period depends on the system used.
