Waterproofing for Cape Town CBD homes & businesses
When it rains in Cape Town CBD, flat roofs, parapets and old flashings are usually the first to leak. We find the actual source and fix it properly, with a written guarantee.
Offices, retail and heritage buildings in the CBD need commercial painting planned around trading hours. Salt-laden air and the south-easter are hard on paint and steel, so coatings need to be marine-grade and properly primed.
Our waterproofing service
Leaks rarely start where the water shows. We trace the source first, whether that's a failed flashing, a cracked parapet, a blocked outlet or rising damp, and fix the cause, not just the stain. We install torch-on membranes on flat roofs and parapets, liquid rubber and fibre-reinforced systems on complex details, and damp proofing on walls that bubble and flake. Every waterproofing job comes with a written guarantee and a clear explanation of what was done.

Waterproofing FAQs
How long does torch-on waterproofing last?
A properly installed and maintained torch-on system typically lasts 10 to 15 years. We recommend a reflective coating every few years to extend it.
Can you fix rising damp?
Yes. We treat rising damp with chemical damp-proof courses, re-plaster with waterproof mixes and finish with breathable paint.
Do you offer a guarantee?
Yes. All waterproofing work comes with a written guarantee. The period depends on the system used.
